Este ano na Comic Con de San Diego o manga The Mysterious Underground Men de Osamu Tezuka ganhou o prémio para melhor edição U.S. de material internacional.Os derrotados foram The Heart of Thomas por Moto Hagio, Showa: A History of Japan, 1926–1939 por Shigeru Mizuki, The Summit of the Gods volume 4 por Yemmakura Baku e Jiro Taniguchi e ainda Utsubora: The Story of a Novelist por Asumiko Nakamura.Já venceram este prémio 20th Century Boys (2013), Onward Towards Our Noble Deaths (2012), 20th Century Boys (2011), Dororo (2009), Tekkonkinkreet (2008) e Old Boy (2007).
