O twitter oficial da Web Comic Zenyon anunciou que o mangá spinoff Hokuto no Ken: Ichigo Aji (Fist of the North Star: Strawberry Flavor) vai parar por tempo indeterminado devido a problemas de saúde do seu ilustrador, Imōto Yukito.
O 9º volume foi publicado a 20 de setembro e o mangá inspirou em 2015 uma parte da série anime DD Hokuto no Ken 2 Ichigo Aji+ (DD Fist of the North Star II + Fist of the North Star: Strawberry Flavor).
